Couples Therapy

Every relationship is unique, which is why our couples therapy is tailored to suit you and your needs – there’s no one-size-fits-all approach with Psychwest. We can help you work through a variety of relationship issues.

NDIS

Psychwest currently accepts referrals for clients who have self-or plan-managed funding from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our provisional and registered psychologists are experienced in the provision of therapeutic supports for children, adolescents and adults with a range of disabilities.

WorkCover

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned at work. If you’ve had an injury at work and are undertaking a Worker’s Compensation claim, you may need to address your psychological health as well as your physical health.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

CBT is a psychological treatment that has been shown to be effective for depression, anxiety disorders, substance use problems, eating disorders, severe mental illnesses and relationship issues.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT teaches you to stop avoiding or struggling with your emotions and to accept that they are a part of life that shouldn’t hold you back. Following this, you can commit to taking action and making changes to your behaviour, regardless of what is happening in your life.

Interpersonal Therapy

Interpersonal therapy is one of the therapeutic approaches that we use in our practice at Psychwest. It is a treatment that focuses on resolving interpersonal problems, as relationships and life events can impact mood (and vice versa).
