Kerstin, Fiona, Hayley, Benji, Natalie, Arielle, Antonia and Sowby entered the field of psychology due to a deep passion and commitment to improve the lives of others. Our mission is to support you to create long lasting and meaningful change in your life.

We’ve intentionally come together to be able to provide empathic, holistic, evidence-based psychology and counselling support for children, adolescents, adults, older adults and couples.

Kerstin Anderson-Ridge

Principal Clinical and Counselling Psychologist

Kerstin is the principal and founder of PsychWest with a passion to help you break free from limiting patterns so you can live your best life.

She is a Clinical and Counselling psychologist with over twenty years of experience.

Her current focus is supporting and mentoring other Psychologists to create sustainable and profitable private practices.

Our intention at PsychWest is to create a welcoming and safe environment where you can feel at ease to work through your goals with your psychologist.

 

Fiona Mann

(she/her)

Clinical Psychologist

Fiona is a Clinical Psychologist with a holistic, person-centred approach, Fiona provides a safe space for clients to explore a range of issues. Together, you’ll identify your unique strengths and utilise evidence-based strategies to facilitate increased insight and lasting change.

She works with clients of all ages and backgrounds for assessment and therapy. She has a particular interest in perinatal mental health and attachment and she is a registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator. She can provide ADHD assessments, cognitive assessment of children using the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) and she also works with plan and self-managed NDIS clients.

Hayley Moulton

Psychologist

Hayley is an empathic psychologist who uses a client-driven, collaborative, and holistic approach to therapy. Hayley believes that therapeutic change must be based on a trusting and empathic therapeutic relationship and works to provide a space where her clients feel safe and heard. She implements evidence-based interventions to help facilitate change and insight. 

Hayley works with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan for assessment and intervention. Her areas of interest include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, Autism, ADHD, Learning disorders, sexuality and gender diversity, life transitions, Autism and cognitive assessments.

 
 
 
 

Benji Iriks

Provisional Psychologist

Benji is a provisional psychologist who provides a gentle, supportive and compassionate approach to therapy and assessment.  Benji believes in creating a collaborative and safe environment for clients and uses a person-centred perspective to assist individuals and families in utilising their strengths to deal with complex issues and emotions. Benji’s own intersectional experience helps provide a unique insight and empathy to support clients through their therapeutic journey.  Benji works with clients across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults. Areas of interest include Autism, ADHD, gender diversity, anxiety, depression, and chronic illness.

Natalie Pickles

Psychologist

Natalie is a psychologist who offers a caring and non-judgemental space to explore client concerns. She aims to build a strong collaborative therapeutic relationship to support clients to meet their individual needs.

She uses a range of evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Natalie use a strengths-based approach to work with older children, adolescents and young adults. Her areas of interest include anxiety in young women, depression, emotional dysregulation and behavioural concerns in children and adolescents.

She also provides assessment of ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders, Giftedness and Autism to clients of all ages.

 
 
 

Arielle Cooper

Provisional Psychologist

Arielle is a provisional psychologist who brings a warm and empathic approach to therapy and assessment. Arielle has experience working across the lifespan and tailors each session for the individual needs of the client using a range of evidence-based interventions.

She has over 13-years experience working with individuals with a disability, along with their families and carers, including being a current director for NDIA.

Arielle always aims to work collaboratively with the client to help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

She has a particular interest in perinatal and attachment mental health and child, adolescent and family psychology, particularly couples. She can provide ADHD assessments, Autism assessments to Adults and cognitive assessments to children using the Wechler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) and cognitive assessments for adults using the Wechler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS).

Antonia Paver

Provisional Psychologist

Antonia is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Professional Psychology at Curtin University. Using a collaborative and evidence-based approach to therapy, she strives to create a safe and non-judgmental space in which clients feel supported in exploring and working towards their goals. She appreciates the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship and tailoring interventions to each client’s specific needs for achieving positive therapeutic outcomes.

Antonia works with individuals from all backgrounds and across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of interest include depression, anxiety, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder, emotion regulation difficulties, self-esteem, relationship issues, and life transitions and adjustment.

 
 
 

Sowby Thamaraiselvan

Counsellor

Sowby is a warm and empathetic counsellor dedicated to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients. Trained in the person-centered approach, she prioritises unconditional positive regard, ensuring each client feels heard, valued, and understood. Her practice is grounded in the belief that therapy is about building a genuine connection beyond diagnostics, allowing clients to explore their concerns in a secure environment.

She excels in understanding cultural diversity and working with clients from various cultural backgrounds. Sowby believes that cultural understanding is essential in fostering empathy, which can significantly enhance the therapeutic alliance and facilitate healing.

Specialising in trauma counselling, Sowby employs evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs. She works collaboratively with clients, helping them navigate their experiences and facilitating positive changes in their well-being.
