What to Expect
A combined ADHD/Autism assessment for adults is a comprehensive, structured in depth process completed over a series of 6 sessions with an experienced psychologist.
Throughout the assessment, we gather a detailed understanding of your developmental history background, education, work, relationships, strengths and day to day experiences.
This includes clinical interviews, standardised questionnaires and evidence based assessment tools to explore traits associated with ADHD and Autism.
The goal is to provide a clear, comprehensive understanding of how you think, process information and navigate daily life, along with practical recommendations for next steps.
Included in the ADHD/Autism Assessment
6 x consultations including a comprehensive 1 hour feedback session.
Use of validated ADHD and Autism assessment tools, including self-report measures and questionnaires (for you and, where relevant, family members).
A detailed exploration of your background including developmental history, education, work, strengths and day to day functioning.
Assessment of attention, memory, focus, concentration, distractibility, social interaction, communication and behavioural patterns.
Scoring and interpretation of all assessment measures.
A comprehensive written report with personalised recommendations and, where appropriate, guidance for further support or treatment options.
Important information
Psychologists do not prescribe medication. Your assessment report can be shared with a psychiatrist if medication is being considered.
If you are under 25 years of age, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for the Autism component with a Psychiatrist referral. We recommend confirming eligibility with your GP.
Please note: the ADHD component is not eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Child ADHD/Autism Assessment Package
What to Expect
A combined ADHD and Autism assessment for children is a structured, supportive process completed over 6 sessions with an experienced psychologist.
Throughout the assessment, we work closely with both you and your child to build a clear understanding of their development, learning, behaviour and day to day functioning.
This includes clinical interviews, questionnaires and evidence based assessment tools to explore attention, social communication, emotional regulation and behaviour.
The goal is to provide clarity around your child’s needs along with practical recommendations to support them at home, school and with potential funding for NDIS.
We understand this can feel like a big step, and our team will guide you through each stage of the process.
Included in the ADHD/Autism Assessment
6 x clinical consultations including a comprehensive 1 hour feedback session
Use of validated ADHD and Autism assessment tools, including and questionnaires completed by parents and, where appropriate, your child.
A detailed review of your child’s developmental history, education, strength and day to day functioning.
Assessment of attention, memory focus, concentration, distractibility, learning profile, social communication and behaviour.
A cognitive assessment (WISC-IV), to better understand your child’s thinking, learning style, strengths and areas of difficulty.
Scoring and interpretation of all assessment measures.
A comprehensive written report with clear recommendations for home, school and where appropriate further support or intervention.
Important information
Psychologists do not prescribe medication. Your child’s report can shared with a Paediatrician o Child Psychiatrist if medical treatment is being considered.
If you have a referral from a Paediatrician or Child Psychiatrist you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for the Autism assessment component. We recommend confirming this with your GP or specialist.
